Rotten and sour gammon and food being sold at FOOD *****S MARKET SOMERSET WEST.

I purchased a whole gammon on 29 July 2023 at the Somerset west Food *****s market. I had a family gathering today Sunday 30 July 2023. My family can only have gatherings two times a year due to the fact that we are scattered all over SA. I was disgusted to find that the gammon I bought had turned sour and rotten and I could not serve it at the gathering.

It is extremely disheartening to have a business that professes freshness but their products speak other wise.

Their freezers are stocked full of gammons and I would like to urge consumers to stay away from these.

It is also not the first time that I bought goods that are sour. On another occasion I bought their cheese grillers at the same store which was sour.

These bad experiences will definitely have an impact on my future buying decisions.

I would just like to ask the franchise to please send in a health inspector to this specific store FOOD *****S MARKET SOMERSET WEST.
