Ribs on special smelling bad

Previously I bought ribs on special from Food *****s Market. It was wonderful. Today, when I was at FLM, they had pork ribs for R50.00 pkg. Because of my good experience previously, I bought 4 packs of ribs.

Big was my disappointment when I started to prepare the ribs at home. I opened the first pack (vacuum packed), and it smelled off. I thought I was imagining things. The second pack (covered with glad wrap) was just fine. Then I opened the 3rd and 4th packs (also vacuum packed), the smell was unbearable. I drive especially to FLM to buy meat. This was such a bad experience. From the 4 packs, which was about 3.5kg, I only got 1kg of ribs that I could use.

Please ensure the meat is shelf ready when put on the shelves. .
