RETURNED A WHOLE ROTTEN WATER MELON

I purchased a Water Melon on the 1st of this month,that I had kept in the fridge and when I cut open the Melon wanting to eat the Melon all you could smell is sourness from the dripping syrup.I still had my reciept and I asked my son to return it to the store,which he was told he can't be serious for returning the Melon as we had kept it for so many days.Which I find ridiculous as the Melon didn't even have a bar code nor a Best Before sticker on it for my son to be told such ****.I called my son asked him to give the phone to anyone from the store which he gave to a lady who had to think of her name before giving it to me which I find disrespectful \DIPUO".Who then transferred me to her manager DANIELLE who for a manager had a stinking attitude kept on saying hello I can't hear you and didn't even have the decency to return my call.
