PRAWNS OLD & SMELLING BADLY

I purchased prawns from the Food *****s Market in Bruma. It was on special. I paid R149.99 <br> I did not keep the slip as i did not envisage that I would have a problem with the product. However the box is clearly identfiable as a product sold by Food *****s Market.<br> <br> Two to three weeks later when i wanted to cook the product I found that the product was extremely old and my family would not be able to consume this. i cleaned virtually half of the box and then due to the smell and black stained meat of the prawns decided to pack it back in the box and take it back to the store.<br> <br> At the store I was told by the fish manager and Mike the assistant manager that because i did not have a slip they could not help me. They did not even look at the box that was brought back. THe prawns were Argentinian prawns that are only sold at Food *****s. I am totally disgusted at the way this was handled. I am a regular customer of Food *****s and i was made to feel like I was lying about their product. These managers do not know how to deal with customers. THey should take a leaf out of the book of Pick n Pay - where the customer is treated like a Queen!
