No Hygiene whatsoever

I asked for R100 of the chicken already cut up into stir fry pieces, the lady that was helping me politely took the s**** from a tray of red meat and with the s**** still dripping with blood wanted to go ahead and start scooping up the chicken - at that point I stopped her! She then mumbled something to one of her co-workers an then started to put the chicken on the tray with her bare hands - no gloves - again I had to stop her in her tracks! How is this acceptable?? Its a choice that I have made not to eat red meat but this kind of practice goes against certain types of religious beliefs too! And no gloves on when you are handling raw meat? Surely that is standard hygiene practice in any meat department? Shocking! The main blockman was behind the counter at the time when this was happening and didn't intercede at all. I will most definitely NOT be buying from Food *****s Market Edenvale anytime soon!
