Meat seems *****

On 8th November, I bought 4 pork belly espetadas from Food *****s Willowbridge. I roasted two on the 8th and they had a chlorine taste to them. On 9th November, the 2nd two smelled off. I though it may just be an odour that you get from packaged pork but after grilling them they clearly tasted off. All of them had expiry date of only 11 November so should have been fine. Similar happened to a large rump steak I bought about 6 weeks ago. Is this a trend with Food *****s Willowbridge? It's costing me 100s of Rands.
