Longbeach Mall Branch - False advertising

<p>Yesterday went to purchase a couple of brands advertised under the Food *****s Market section and a certain item under the Deli section was not in stock (although the staff was surprised by the ad as she was unaware of the special) and was told the stock was not delivered and would be in store tomorrow (today). Again I bought a couple of items and went to the deli department to get the pastrami ham as advertised however still no stock and asked for the manager who after waiting 15min was told they could not find him. I asked the staff for the next person in charge who is able to help and after 10min the butchery assistant manager said the advert is incorrectly dated as it should be for Thursday 24th. I have now also lodged a complaint to ASASA (Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa) and to the National Consumer Commission. The reason for my complaint is because your staff don't care or have the correct ability to handle a complaint. Missing manager? Where was the assistant manager? </p>
