Lockdown Profiteers...manipulating prices to profit off people's misery

Contrary to what was quoted in April 2020, I.e: "A spokesperson from Food *****s Market says that “we [FLM] have not raised the prices of any items as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic or the lockdown and we will endeavour to continue our delivery of value-driven products to our customers." The tune has definitely changed now...as just last week I could 'fill a bag' of naartjies at R15, yet today it sells at R20! Similarly a 'staple purchase' - Gastro Pizza Salami has suddenly increased from R35.99 to R49.99...An increase of at least 25% in both products respectively. Regardless of how you spin it, this store is clearly profiting from the Lockdown. May you choke firstly on the ill-gotten gains which you are benefiting by in abusing the misery of Lockdown to overcharge your customers.
