Inferior Produce

I bought some ivegatables just four days ago, on the 25/03/2020 from Food *****s Market @Trade Route Mall and had to discard it as it has gone off. I also threw away some of the onions from the bag that I also purchased from them.

I wonder if the veg at this store has it's own virus or is it just inferior quality. There is no "best before date" and "sell buy date".

Are we being sold third grade produce or just being exploited during this trying times?
