04 Nov 2024, 12:18A very disturbing and disappointing phone call from a Ms Stuurman of Food *****s market who explained that the perceived price increase on specifically the nuts range was due to a health promotion that was run in the week under discussion. That it was clear that I had somehow missed the promotion items…… unfortunately none of this made any sense… and the conversation went no where.
I guess we have now entered the era where the retailer will run promotions on slow moving items and boost the price on more popular items
So much for an effective promotion.
Caveat emptor.
