Food Spoil

I visited the food *****s market at the gateway centre in centurion located on the Old Johannesburg Road on the 27th of February 2022. On that particular day they had specials on meat products , i decided to then purchase a tray of boerwors , rack of ribs and some other meat items as well. When we got home that afternoon we decided to have a braai ....The lamb was spoilt and had to be disposed off , the smell was bad, The boerwors as well was spoilt ....I called the store on Monday and the lady (did not give me her name) advised i must just visit with the items ....I mentioned i did not have a slip she assured me please just come in. So i arrived on the 6th of March back with the wors ........here goes i get told that i need to have a slip reason being how would they know how much to re imburse me , blah blah blah....They would only give me money back for the wors , i fail to understand .This has nothing to do with the money but the principle behind the matter .Do not sell food that spoilt at a discounted rate. Guys please be very careful make sure you check the food stuff .
