I am extremely disappointed with the food I purchased from Food *****s Market in Morning Glen. Yesterday, I bought 4 “Meal of the Day” meals priced at R39.99 each for myself and my colleagues. Shortly after eating the food, we all became ill with severe stomach issues that lasted throughout the night and into the next day.

The meal consisted of rice, gravy with potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms, and a quarter chicken leg. We noticed something strange in the gravy and what appeared to be beef bones, which did not match the chicken that was served. This raised concerns about the quality and safety of the food. None of us have experienced anything like this before. The discomfort was severe, and we were unable to rest properly due to frequent trips to the bathroom.

This experience strongly suggests food poisoning, which is a serious health risk. I deeply regret purchasing food from this store and am very concerned that proper food safety standards may not have been followed. Food poisoning is not a small matter, and this situation put customers’ health at risk. I believe this issue should be taken seriously and investigated to prevent it from happening to others.
