FOOD *****S MARKET SELLS ROTTEN PRODUCE & EMPTY PROMISES

On 24 December 2017, I recorded a complaint on this Hello Peter forum for rotten produce we had bought at Food *****s Market.

I also advised that although it was the first time I had complained on the forum, it was not the first time I had bought sub-standard produce at Food *****s Market.

On 28 December 2017. the offending company responded with their very standard copied-and-pasted response of: "Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have escalated this matter onto the relevant parties and one of our representatives will be in contact with you. Thanks-The FLM Team"

2 problems:

1) It is now 18 January 2018 - 21 days since the offending company's response and promise and to date and I have still not heard anything from any of its representatives. Thanks for the empty promise, anonymous "FLM Team".

2) It really is a poor show when companies use the copy-paste method and the anonymous "team" word to reply to complaints. It's nice to hide behind a copy-paste response that is not worth the text it is typed in with and also behind the anonymous banner of "team" so no-one actually has to take acountability and say: "the buck stops here" and address the issue at hand.

So take heed, Joe Public...not only does this company sell rotten produce, but also empty promises.
