Food *****s Market sell rotten vegetables

I went shopping at #Food*****sMarket in Somerset West Mall on Thursday 01/04/2021. Part of my shopping was getting some "fresh" green beans. Needless to say, the beans weren't fresh, but mostly rotten and I had to throw more than half of them away

I immediately contacted #Food*****sMarket later that day when realising that the beans were rotten, and also sent them pictures of the beans. Their response was that I should drive from Gordons Bay back to Somerset West Mall and get a refund and that I should take my slip with as well as my photos of the beans

Really, drive from Gordons Bay to Somerset West Mall which would cost me more in fuel than what the beans were actually worth. Needless to say, I haven't received any further feedback from #Food*****sMarket.

Avoid shopping at #Food*****sMarket for your fresh veggies, they definitely are NOT fresh and this is not the first time that I have had a problem with the quality of #Food*****sMarket "fresh veggies, but it will definitely be the last time!!!
