FOOD *****S MARKET POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Good Day, on 20 November 2021 ive bought a swiss roll cake at Food *****s Market, Somerset West. i opened it on sunday 21 November 2021 and found that the whole cake was moldy and that on the sticker it showed use before 19 November 2021 i immediately the same evening made contact with food *****s via email that was on the back of the till slip, as well as their instagram page. i have received feedback from the instagram stating i need to return to the store for a refund. on Monday 22 November i contacted the store for a direct email address and spoke to 2 ladies one named Jo-ann, i gave them my contact number to contact me coz my emails was not going though to them. up until today 30 November 2021 i have not received any email, nor calls. my concerns are food poisoning, if we may have ate that cake, it was not on a separate shelve where things are marked down, etc. i was told to return to the store for a refund! i am asking if this is the manner that complaints are dealt with at their organization. no response back from my complaint. are these things not taken serious as we are the consumers that purchase and entrust that what we buy are of the best quality and that our voices will be heard? disappointed customer.
