Food *****s Market Deliberate overpricing of BigdealWednesday special

On 10/2/21 Food *****s Market advertised their BigDealWednesday on Facebook Buy 1 box mango & get another box free. I went to the Lifestyle garden Centre store in our area and purchased these 2 boxes and I bought a paw paw advertised insore for R25,99 each. Whilst driving home I was trying to calculate why I paid more money than I was expecting to. I checked my till slip when I arrived home and found that instead of R49.99, I was charged R59,99 for the 2 boxes of mangoes and R29.99 for the 1 pawpaw. This is deliberate overpricing and typical of this franchise. I don't usually buy anything from this franchise as have had bad experiences previously - fruit and vegetables is of poor quality and frot but I did not feel like driving to my usual fruit shop cat Eagles Landing Shopping Centre
