Expired!!!

The past weekend I popped in to Food *****s Market Weskus mall. We purchased many goods and then my 2 year old son saw peanuts. While I was paying, my mother opened it for him and he started eating. My mom then also took some and immediately stopped him. She said it tastes dated and we checked the expiry date (at the till point).

We were so shocked to see it expired a whole year ago!!! My son ate it!! We told the cashier and she called the manager. She approached us and took the peanuts and smelled it and smelled it again and again. I then told her really if she doesnt believe me the check the date or simply eat the stuff!! So annoyed, she told the cashier to refund us. I told her we want it but a fresh pack. A while later she returned with another. She asked us for another R15 as this is what is cost and she walked away. Nobody apologised and nobody was friendly.
