Complaint Against Supervisor Shameegah – Food *****s Market, Ottery Cape Town.

I am escalating a serious complaint regarding the nuts department supervisor, Shameegah, at your Ottery - Cape Town branch on 2nd June 2026 between 10h30 and 11h30 ( till time stamp shows 10h58.

I previously bought stale peanuts, and when I informed Shameegah, I calmly explained that I don’t have the luxury of time to return items due to my demanding work schedule. I pointed out to the peanut & raisins dispenser that there were some stale ones in between. Instead of assisting, she became highly confrontational and argumentative to the point where she told me I must not shop at Food *****s Market again. When I asked for her name, she rudely removed her badge and shoved it in my face.

Moreover, when I requested to speak to the manager, she told me I must go and fetch the manager myself. This aggressive and argumentative behavior was completely unacceptable. I reported this to assistant manager Chris (of whom tasted the peanuts and confirmed that some was giving off a bad after taste) , but I now request that head office review the store’s video footage between 10:30 and 11:00 to confirm her conduct. Please take disciplinary action against Shameegah and address both the product issue and her aggressive behavior. I expect a swift resolution.
