Coke Special - There is none at the back.

On Friday 27/08/2021 I visited FLM in N1 City. The coke special 1.5X4 for R50 was not on shelves. I approached a gentleman that was packing out drinking yoghurts and made enquiries. He then asked a female I think her name was Crystal packing chips; she said no there was none and she continued packing her chips. I then said so if the promotion is till Sunday how come there is no cokes left? She said they will only deliver the next day. Then Dawood came along and the gentleman then asked him and he said there was at the back and he advised that he would get me. He then returned with a pack of cokes. I thanked him and it reminded me of my retail days, where I was happy to serve customers and always did my job to the best of my ability and went the extra mile... I was so disappointed in that lady, as I believe she did not feel like going to get cokes so she would rather be untruthful and say that there is none. I am immensely grateful that Dawood assisted me in such a pleasant manner and it did not seem like a huge effort to him at all. That is the type of staff members that should be in your frontline, those who practice customer care, serve others cheerfully and going the extra mile.
