BEWARE! FLM HARTIES CHEATING!
Bought goods at FLM, Sediba Hartbee****rt in January 2022. Checked slip after payment. Noticed a R20 item that was entered as "Supervisor #2002", which we did not take. This was very obviously a magnetic strip kept by the cashier which she swiped under the scanner without the client noticing. Confronted the cashier, she gave us the money back. No apology. Then asked for the manager and was very surprised to learn that the cashier who cheated us, was the manager! I tried to establish who the owner was, and was informed that it was one Chris, at that stage running a shop in Pretoria. I tried on numerous times to make contact with Chris and left countless messages for him, to no avail. People must be aware of how this business operates, check your till slips! My review is late as I was ill.

31 Oct 2022, 09:25Despite undertakings by FLM to contact me regarding this issue, nothing has happened since 25 September 2022 when the complaint was lodged. I will give it another week, then I will go onto social media to report what has happened here. Including FLM's failure to address the matter.

31 Oct 2022, 12:09Suddenly received a call today from the owner's assistant at Sediba FLM with an apology. He claimed that FLM Head Office never informed them of the complaint until today. Very bad reflection on FLM is that is true. I will see how this get resolved.

17 Nov 2022, 17:40This issue was at last, in the end resolved by Stanford, PA of the owner of FLM Harties. Unlike FLM's Head Office, Stanford was quite efficient and professional. However I was very surprised to learn that the cheating cashier was not disciplined, but only transferred to another FLM store after even more problems came to light with this specific person.
