Being further inconvenienced after purchasing defective goods

I belive that food*****s market can handle defective goods complaints better than inconveniencing the customer further. I purchased mixed nuts 35g x3 packets. Date 31/03/2025 Best before 19/06/2025 Batch number MMNSA190924 All three packets were stale. It's clear the whole batch is defective. I laid the complaint on the website on the same day upon opening the first packet. I was sent a mail the next day saying to take my slip and the product or a picture of the product for a replacement as well as one free. So I did so and headed out the door, only to be called by the store when I'm already out saying that I need to bring all three packets in for replacements. Now I already had left home. The other to packets were in two other houses, to go back and fetch all and then go to the store, doesn't even make any financial sense. My petrol will cost more than the price of the nuts. Plus so much of my time wasted. I was already inconvenienced in the first place and now they are inconveniencing me further. Surely they can just send me a voucher of the amount which I can use towards my next purchase. If they go to the shelve and look at the product with the same batch number they will see that all is defective. That will prove that I am not lying and they will have a sample to send to the supplier. Why inconvenience me more ? Use up my time? And make me incur further costs ? How does this make sense ? Where is the passion for customers ?
