Foneyam is a ****

I took a Samsung A05 at PEP Southgate through Foneyam on 18 October 2024. In April 2025 the phone stopped charging so I took it back to PEP stores, they asked for the box and the receipt. I had the box and the receipt however I couldn't find the receipt that I signed. They have been sending me messages and I have been paying. I signed the agreement online as well. Anne told me that I have to pay R2000 for them to fix the phone. I asked them to cancel the contract as I can't afford the R2000 then she told me they can't and that I should continue paying for the device. They have the device, I'm not using it so why must I continue paying for it?

Good day I trust you are well. I don't understand what you mean my device is 'defrayed' when I explicitly told you to only fix what won't require me to pay as I don't have money. I asked you to only fix what the insurance will pay Kind regards Lungiswa Jonas
Good day The device will be recycled “ defrayed” Devices with us longer than 90 days are defrayed Keep well and kind regards Faizel Jadwat

Hello FoneYam. I wish you'd stop calling me for payment as I've been keeping you abreast on what's happening with the phone and you chose not to engage.

I can't pay for a phone I don't have
