I went to Ackermann to buy a phone, then got their agents there who said I could get a phone with foneyam, I just pay 30% then monthly for 12 months, which then the phone will be mine, but now I'm surprised to know when contract ends, I have to purchase the same phone which already by calculations is more than the original price of the phone, Ackermans and foneyam are ****mers, they weren't not transparent nor truthful.

FoneYam is a rental contract which requires customers to pay the initial payment (upfront payment + the first payment 7 days later), and a further 12 monthly payments.
The payment terms and product terms and conditions are disclosed to and accepted by customers during the application process.
As per the terms and conditions, we provide the following options:
1. At the end of the rental period, subject to all payments having been received, customers have the first option to purchase the device at fair market value.
2. At the end of the rental period customers may return the device.
Alternatively, customers may also exercise their right to early cancellation of the rental contract, subject to a reasonable cancellation fee.
