Your booking does not show please book a flight with another airline sir!

Arrived early for a last minute booking, to be told the booking does not show. Referrer to the counter to be told the payment did not go through due to a system error as there was no space on the flight?!?? Apologetic clerk was totally useless to hadle the situation, but also *********** dealing with my obvious anger at not being informed earlier that the booking did not go through. Looking at my mails, the mail received reads “ Booking Receipt Email #H24RBP” with no warning or reason for concern, turns out if you open the receipt, which nobody ever does, it show non payment right at the bottom! Apologies to the clerk, but as with any bussiness travel there is so much riding on travel plans, that a ridiculous error from the airline booking system, and an obvious failure in the warning systems have created huge hassles, inconvenience, travel costs, and potential loss of bussiness, but left utterly stranded on the day, surely that warrants some harsh words? As the clerk said, sorry sir we are sold out please try booking with another airline, while at the airport 2 hrs before the flight, I don’t think so, but maybe we will start at the other airline next time!!!!
