Worst airline company

One star is definitely too much for this company! On Friday, 1 November was the first time that we had booked a flight on FlySafair. What a huge dissapointment!

We booked a flight from OR Tambo to King Shaka for 7:40. Because of the extreme cues going through the security checkpoint, we were five minutes late. We arrived at 7:30 at the departure gate. We had our two grandchildren - ages 3 and 6 - with us.

Just to find the rudest and unfriendliest Safair employee at the departure gate, treating us like dirt. We understand the fact that we were five minutes late and this can be confirmed via camera. She didn't even try to help, just told us to go and change to another flight. Her behaviour and attitude was so bad that I did not understand exactly what she said and had to ask her to repeat it again. After us, another three passengers came late for the same flight as well. This whole incident traumatized the children extremely.

We could manage another flight with Cemair at 13:00, which had the friendliest staff. They announced a few times that the Cemair bus was about to leave. No announcements was made by Flysafair staff! After we all were on the Cemair bus, the attendant waited another 7 minutes for two older ladies that were late to get aboard. Such a contrast to the Flysafair staff!

Is this how Safair make their money? Rebooking on another flight cost R4000!
