Well managed baggage situation

At the end of March I was on a Safair flight from Cape Town & on the way to Jhb we were advised of a baggage problem at Cape Town Airport: not all bags were loaded onto the flight. The Safair staff were very apologetic & helpful, as well as the staff on hand at OR Tambo airport baggage terminal. After completing the necessary form, I was promised a call later that evening with a reference number. Not only did I receive the promised call, but I also received a follow-up call later that evening to confirm my baggage had arrived safely & would be delivered to me the next morning! True to their word, I received another call in the morning (Sunday) & shortly thereafter Explorama Tours was at my gate with my bag safely delivered :) It was refreshing to receive the promised follow-up & delivery - well done to all involved for successfully managing what could have been a rather unpleasant baggage situation!!
