Very bad terms and conditions, nowhere they mention that until you look closer

Absolutely a big no no!!! I booked a flight for my son and I from EL to Jhb as he had to compete for SA athletics the weekend of 20-22 March. Costing 6500 there and back which is ridiculous as we had to work on donations and sponsors to get that money together. Furthermore the Teusday 19th of march the school let me know my son os not well. Took him to the doctor a day before the flight just to hear he has hand, foot and mouth disease and wont be able to compete in jhb. I phoned them straight away and explained the situation, all they could say we can refund an amount into a fly safair wallet as we cant refund in cash. Why would i want a wallet we dont fly, this was a once off thing and i mean i had to beg and borrow to get that money togethet and due to unforseen circumstances we couldnt go. So they quick to take your money but giving it back is not so easy. I dont mind them taking a percentage but gosh return what was paid to you. So be very carefull in booking and cancelations. I would never be so stupid again.
