Unkind and obstructive service

My 13 year old son was flying back from boarding school for his 1st time flying alone. The departure airport was king Shaka on the 8:30 flight this morning to Johannesburg (Or Tambo) I had not booked him any luggage as I didn’t realise he wouldn’t be allowed his tennis rackets (in his back pack) on the flight. Instead of the two check in assistants (an adult male and women)offering a solution, and advising him that he could purchase a luggage voucher they unkindly told him he can’t fly and caused him to panic!

unacceptable and unkind behaviour for a service orientated business with other competitors as alternatives.
