********* and unfair practices

********* behaviour. I have 3 children fly Cape Town to Johannesburg. One is considered not a minor as he is 13 and the other two are as they are both 11. Flysafair is charging both children who are minors each R750 but all children will be on one flight. Their agent called and told me as well as emailed that payment should be done by 6pm. In the email the following is said “ The R750.00 for the Unaccompanied Minor is charged per child - this is the price for the service. Each minor is assigned to one agent, however due to the airport and flight capacity, a maximum of two minors may be assigned to one agent. ”. It is clear that this is a way to make money. The flights have already been booked as the system allows as 13 year old is considered an adult but not adult enough to fly with the two minors who are 11. I had to pay R1500 for both children as I was then threatened that this should be done as it would cost me R300 to change the booking per child if we don’t conclude the payment for unaccompanied minor as it would be within 48hours departure.

I have no problem paying R750 for an agent to accompany the two minors but to be told that the fees is per child but still one agent accompanies the children is ********* and a **** to customers. I will not be using Flysafair until they themselves find a way to resolve this. I travel frequently so my lose was just R750 but for them it’s a loyal client.
