Unable to cancel

I have been trying oi cancel my dad's flight due to hospitilizaton since 4 Dec. Unable to do so online. Call center keeps me in a holding pattern for way longer than indicated. When I choose the option to be called back, I am not. I have submitted a refund claim but czn still not cancel the booking. I am really disgusted at the service.
