****** content from baggage

It is with the greatest disappointment that I would like to share my experience this past week. I was traveling to Cape Town on business and had checked in my bag, as per normal I used two cable ties to secure my bag. I proceeded, reaching Cape Town only to find out that my cable ties had been cut, note, my clothes and vanity case were visible so i figured there was no damage done. The next day I had realized that both my new Tom Ford and Lacoste fragrances were not in my case, instead of jumping to conclusions I first checked with my family if i had forgotten it at home. This was not the case and they had indeed been ******. Upon contacting the FlySafair team I was told that since it was more than 24 hours since the incident, there is nothing that can be done to help me. This is very sad that I have to now lose R4000.00 worth of hard earned money due to being a truthful individual and choosing not to jump to conclusions. there was only remorse from one 1 individual; Thuli who tried everything to help but instead was turned down by her supervisions without them even hearing my side of the story. Being in a shoot for the week I had limited access to reception and being a good person resulted in them deeming those circumstances as not good enough reason to proceed with the claim. I urge everyone who goes through the same ordeal to not follow my example and have no hesitation to take things like this to task. They did not lie when they said truthful people will never be helped. #FlySafair #******luggage
