Son not allowed to board flight

<p>My 13 year old son missed his flight on Sunday morning 06:30 last week, due to him only having a copy of his birth certificate with him. (we left the house at 05:00 to get him to the airport on time, and we just dropped him off), because he has done this so many times before) He has flown so many times with SAA, Mango, Khulua and we never had any problems. He called me to say he is not allowed on the flight and i must come fetch him again. I had to pay another R1 500 to get him to Durban and could only get another flight the day after. He missed out on two days and it was a very stressful experience for him. Your website does not state that it must be a original birth certificate (who flies with original documents - what if it gets lost or ****** - do you know the inconvenience to go to the home affairs dep?) i find this unacceptable and i am not going to leave it here. IT IS SHOCKING TO SAY THE LEAST!!</p>
