Safari why ask for feedback if you don't engage.
This is what happens when you have a lack of competition. I've include my experience in the below email trail, that up until today has not received a response. Safari, delete the email address if you not going to engage. You've lost a customer and created an advocate for your competitors. My experience and the lack for engagement is a regular topic of conversation at most of my social engagements.

Hi Safair,
I just wanted to share my experience this evening which I find mind blowing.
I was booking on the 18:05 FA289 departing from King Shaka. The flight was delayed by 30 minutes.
As passengers started to board I made my way closer to the Safair Stewart’s and sat 3 metres away from them , where I had a clear view of the gantry and the queue to board the air craft as I always do as I don’t enjoy the hustle. There were about +- 15 passengers still in the queue waiting to board when I got up and presented the stewards my ticket and ID , they in turn responded saying the gate is closed. They were polite and were sympathetic but were following instruction.
I begged them to let me go as the passengers had not all boarded and they said there was nothing they could do. I can understand if all the passengers had boarded. This is my normal procedure and have never experienced this.
I then proceeded back through security and made my way to the ticket office to try get on a later flight . While on my way to the ticket office I called my wife to tell her what transpired.
At the ticket office I was told there were two more flights and they were full and the first available flight was 8:35 the next day (25th March) and that it will cost R2693 to change my original business class ticket which I paid a premium for.
I have booked the flight and paid the ******ionate R2693 .
Once I had finished at the ticket office I called my wife whilst driving home and explained that I had managed to get a morning flight as I was told the remaining flights were full.
She in turn said thats not correct as when I called her whilst making my way to the ticket office she logged onto the Safair website to check and there were four flights this evening , one was fully booked and three others had availability. I have attached screen shot she took at the time.
I have always been a big supporter of Flysafair and the challenges you have had to deal with even prior to Covid , but this leaves a very bad taste and is not customer service . I’ve attached my original boarding ticket and the additional cost for the amendment .
I’m not looking for compensation I just want to understand if this is a situation you are complacent with as I find it mind blowing .
I would love to get your CEO’s take on what transpired.
Thanks
Regards
