Safair unconcerned with my query
As per my previous review... I flew safair from Durban to Cape Town on 25th August at 12.10pm. On board, I ordered a chicken mayonnaise sandwich, a can of coke and a bottled water and paid R102 with my debit card as cash is not accepted. Upon checking my bank statement 2 days later, I found I had been charged TWICE for the ONE purchase of R102. I phoned safair and was told to submit my bank statement and flight details, which I did. On 4th September (10 days after my flight), I again contacted safair and Lucy CHINDLOVU requested my bank statement AGAIN and the last 6 digits of the bank card I had used to make payment on board. Upon receiving this, my query (***) was ESCALATED. On 14th September 2026, (20 days after my flight), I emailed LUCY CHINDLOVU AGAIN, who said she hadn't received any feedback yet. Basically she was WAITING and not following up on my query. I'm wondering how much interest I will accumulate on my R102 while Lucy is waiting? I'm considering legal action, purely on the lack of attention and accountability, not on the amount of R102. Perhaps I'll find many other passengers with small amounts being taken off their accounts amounting to large sums.
