safair

i booked a return ticket (P.E. to C.T for depart 25/07/20 & return 02/08/20) on the 1st June 2020. When i viewed my ticket/booking confirmation on the 02/06/20, i found that my booking had been cancelled. After many back & forth interactions, with the SAFAIR helpdesk consultants,one of their "team leaders" eventually informed me that the P.E airport was closed,hence the reason for the cancellation. I asked the Team leader if the basis for Safair cancelling my ticket was because they envisaged the P.E airport,to still to be closed come the 25th July 2020....he couldn't answer. I've now been told by Safair that i can accept the issued voucher, or a refund which amounts to only 55% of the original ticket price! Why would anyone want to use this airline - their consultants are mostly clueless and contradict each other
