Safair corona failure

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never dealt with such a self absorbed company, not the call centre agents as they can only do as they are instructed, but management. How is it that it can be seen as acceptable options when needing, not wanting to change or cancel flights due to a virus issue, like we have these everyday, so you are given two options by Safair, 1: give a change of date somewhere within the next six months when you will be looking to fly, regardless of weather corona is still running or not and receive no penalties, so basically you can choose to fly in possible virus risk ventilated metal tubes with 300+ people after we were by law, forbidden to congregate in groups larger that 100, but they then you can change your ticket to any other day up to 6 months in advance as long as you give the exact date, today. 2: we will give you a refund voucher BUT you will pay a penalty of R300 per ticket and receive a voucher for the balance, OH BUT WAIT this voucher must also be used within 6 months of the initial flight, so for a ticket that we pay a price of R499 one way you loose over half its value and then pay the difference between the voucher and any new flight booked within the next 6 months.

what a joke, I do hope when all this corona is over, those that at this time chose to fly with Safair and were ********** and people that know them remember how they were treated by this company before even thinking of booking with them again. Rather book British Airways (my other flight that was gladly opened to be used anytime within 6 months of original purchase, with only the difference in the flight cost at date of booking, no penalties, no extra booking charges etc.) this is the first airways I will be looking to for any future flight pricing before any other airlines. ***** stars for British airways
