Rude & Arrogant Bag Drop Agent In Port Elizabeth

What a disappointing experience I got today (18 November 2022 around 6pm) from a #FlySafair agent in Port Elizabeth.

Firstly, I greeted her and she didn’t bother to reply. I decided to overlook that since I just wanted to drop my bag.

I was there to check in my 6kg pull-up banner and tripod wrapped together with tape, to my surprise she arrogantly told me that according to #FlySafair regulations I must separate the 2 items since it’s against the regulations. I respect the regulations but what about the attitude and the arrogance? In my years of flying with #FlySafair this was my first time to have such an experience.

I paid for the language when I booked my ticket but according to this lady, she reckons I must take my banner with me on the flight. So, wats the point of paying for an extra bag then carry it on the flight?

I had to unwrap the Banner and the Tripod and had to force the Tripod in the banner bag so I can comply with the regulations as told by the Agent. This lady gave me a serious attitude and was extremely rude and arrogant (at the bag drop counter). I checked the same package from Cape Town going to PE, I have been traveling with the same package, with the same airline but with no issues. I am so disappointed.

Please #FlySafair do something about this.
