R4 promotion disaster

I am a regular business customer of Safair, my last flight with them was as recent as yesterday.

This morning I have been trying to manage some of my many future booked flights, which would have included further bookings. Safair however thought it a good idea to remove all functionality on the website and place all visits in the online "waiting room" for their R4 flight promotion. I also could not login to the business section of the booking website.

They made a major error of judgement in assuming everybody is interested in their R4 promotion and willing to suspend their travel arrangement priorities demanding urgent attention. I am sure there are many other very unhappy regulars out there and in my case, the experience has turned a fan into a potential leaver. My immediate bookings will be done with a competitor to start with.

Oh, one more thing. I tried the call centre, but rang off after holding for an unacceptably long time.. Really poor all round and badly conceived. Can you imagine - giving away freebies and thereby chasing away your regulars?
