Priority Boarding at George Airport a joke

<p>Good day</p> <p>We live in George and always fly with Flysafair. On 1 July 2017 my fiance, Rensia Venter, and I travelled with Flysafair from George to OR Tambo, Johannesburg and we returned the following day, under the above reference number.</p> <p>Because of the school holidays we anticipated that the airport would be busy so we booked and paid for priority boarding, both routes.</p> <p>At the George airport on Saturday 1 July 2017 people queued with normal boarding passes in the priority boarding queue, so we asked a ground attendant where we should stand. he showed us to a separate queue and assured us that the ground staff at the gate would call us to board before boarding the normal boarding passengers. When the flight boarding was called, the ground staff lady opened the boarding without calling us to board. We had to basically shove in the queue in front of the other passengers, who were extremely angry at us. When we told her we paid for priority boarding she merely told us that everyone is priority boarding. We again told her that we understand that she wants to treat all passengers as priority passengers, but that we had in fact paid for this service. She then proceeded to just laugh and still did not acknowledge us.</p> <p>We were highly embarrassed at this in front of a full boarding hall. We are very disappointed at the service we received at George airport from the Flysafair staff and wonder why we paid for a service that we did not receive and which seems to not be offered by the George staff of Flysafair.</p> <p>When we returned from Johannesburg we did not have these problems or any issues.</p> <p>We await to hear from you.</p> <p>Regards<br />AJ Coetzee<br /> ********** 381</p>
