Poor form from SAFAIR during covid

Flight FA 373 JNB to PLZ Wed 7 July 2021

SAFAIR I was seriously fuming after this flight that cost over 3k on their Safair Lite package!

We are told very matter of fact that if we do not disembark 2rows at a time that we would be breaking the law as ordered by legislation. I am fami**** with this and respect this process on flights.

What I don’t accept, is the lack of respect shown to passengers by the flight attendants on duty that day.

How are we meant to disembark 2rows at a time, when our hand luggage is all over the place!!! So many of us had to store our hand luggage far away from our seats, due to lack of coordination by your flight attendants, plus it was obvious that passengers where allowed to board with more luggage than is allowed! I paid extra to have my seat in the front, what’s the point if I need to still need to mission to get my luggage.

When asked why this has become such a mess? I was promptly told that “it’s first come first serve” well this cant work when we are expected to disembark 2 rows at a time, as per legislative law (a point that was stressed by the announcer on the flight), so are they not also breaking the law by not enabling us to follow this rule???

I am livid, there is not food or drink served so what else can a flight attendants job be. There is literally very little to do, how can this be acceptable.

We are in a major pandemic here and rules have been structured to keep passengers safe. This is negligence and lack of respect to people flying during covid!
