Not their problem

On Thursday evening I checked in with Flysafair for a flight to Cape Town when I boarded the air craft there were no space in the overhead luggage compartment for my suitcase and was requested by the flight attendant to store my suitcase in the cargo hold and they did asked me if I have any valuables in my suitcase which I then informed them that I have my Ipad in my suitcases which the flight attentant said that is should be fine to keep it in my suitcase. I was also told my suitcase will be waiting for me when 0i get off the plane. When arriving in Cape Town my suitcse was nowhere to be seen and eventually found the suitcase on the carousel with all the checked in luggage. I completed a form by the airports company and they were ver helpfull and was contacted by them on Friday to inform me that Flysafair is from the opinion that it is not their problem.
