Missed flight due to unprofessional staff.

I had a flight booked with FlySafair at 9:50 today. Got at the check-in counter just after 9:00 the clerk took my information and instead of processing my information she proceed to hand her cell phone to the clerk at the desk next to her. After discussing what needs to be done to the cell phone for a couple of minutes. She looks at me and starts processing my information and informs me that I have missed the check-in time by 4 minutes. And I have to purchase a new ticket. I believe, if the clerk processed my information the moment I handed it to her I would have made the cutt off time. I was send to the client service desk where I was treated like a ******** and buying a ticket is my fine. I will not recommend FlySafair to anyone.
