Late for check-in

On 9 Feb 2016 I was delayed by traffic to get to the airport for flight FA102, I arrived about 10min late and the booking clearly states that you should check-in at least 40min prior to departure. When I got to the check-in the person told me that I was to late and the gates have closed, but he still called the guys at the gates to ask if he may check me in. They then assisted me and two other people to get us checked in and directed us where to go.<br> I have read a few complaints on hellopeter about FlySafair and how they refused to accept people who arrived 1min late, but in my experience this is not the situation and I would like to thank FlySafair for the great and friendly service, even in-flight. Unfortunately I did not get the guy at the check-in name as I was in a rush.
