I flew with my daughter who is 2 years old and a few days

I flew with my daughter who is 2 years old and a few days. She was not feeling well and abit drowsy from her medication. I buckled her up in her seat and realised that she couldn’t sit up by herself in her seat so I opted to carry her on my lap with the seatbelt buckled on both of us. The flight attendants didn’t seem to understand and insisted that I put her on her own seat dispite her situation. That was very inconsiderate and cold. How can a toddler who isn’t feeling well supposed to sit by herself feeling ill in a flight full of strangers ? The other airlines have allowed me to carry her. What’s the difference if she was any younger? Please ask your attendants to be considerate and review your policies when it comes to these matters. There was a young male coloured attendant who approached me in a very rude manner and this made the situation more uncomfortable. flight was on the 31st March from King Shaka airport to OR Tambo at 11:30. I am disappointed about this inconsiderate behaviour
