Horrible Customer Service
[03/25, 00:13] Nkululeko: The events of the evening of the 24th of March has left me and my fiance shocked at the level of disrespect and sheer incompetence of Flysafair team leader Noxolo. The same Noxolo upon inquiring about his last name flattery refused to reveal her last name. We booked a flight to Durban from O.R. having planned a birthday vacay from my 7-year-old boy who turns 8 today. Both our ID's were required and not my son's birth certificate. We proceeded to the gates enroute to boarding a flight. Two major delays later and we were finally ready to get into the pl [03/25, 04:05] Nkululeko: Only to be told we can't causes we don't have Kananelo's birth certificate. We were obviously not happy with that and sight a solution of which Bongani the chiefs officer, I think he's called asked us to get as copy of the certificate. Those attempts failed with Noxolo, manager, making the final all not to allow us. Now the drama starts. The question is how were we allowed to go through the Checkin stage without being asked about Kananelo's docs? The manner at which our case was desmissed left an extremely bitter taste. Bongani ordered our bags to be taken off the plane not before making us aware of how difficult we have made his job. Now he has to make extra efforts which are beyond his call of duty to get the bags out and send them to the console, I think it's what [03/25, 04:25] Nkululeko: Efforts were made in our part to resolve the issue. We checked in at 14:00, that's 2:30hrs prior to depart before the two delays for a plane that eventually left at 19:30. It stands to reason that had we been told at checkin about the certificate, we could have made efforts to get it before the first boarding call. Then comes the main event. After listening to Bongani's bickering. It was time for Noxolo to provide the final intertainment. First we had to book again for 06:00 which meant now we were on standby and had to pay R300.00 each. R900.00 was paid as we needed to ensure that we eventually get to Durban for Kananelo's birthday celebration. We tried to get answers from Noxolo about the **** up at check in, but she didn't budge exonerating herself from the situation and not taking any responsibility about us being allowed all the way until boarding gate without Kananelo's certificate. She refused to provide her full details claiming that they were not relevant. Her arrogance was a shock to all of us who were at the counter. She refused to listen and kept interrupting me when I spoke. She claimed that she didn't make the call to refuse us entry into the plane but. She kept pointing fingers at us each time she spoke and never attempted to even offer an apology for the apparent error on the side of the airline. This is shameful behavior, which I dont wish on any one, especially on eve of their kids birthday. This sort of behavior should never be allowed.
