FlySafair - UCount Rewards

We booked 4 tickets return flight from Lanseria to Cape Town. the tickets was booked and paid on 6 June 2024. Departure on 5 Sept and return 16 Sept. The plan was to take my In laws to go and watch the flowers on the West Coast and have a 10 day holiday. They are 88 and 85 years old. We do have a house in Langebaan. My mother in law got sick and and was hospitalised on 25 July 2024. She was 14 days in ICU and then in a private ward. She was discharged on Monday 19 August. On 5 August she was diagnosed with CLL, type of Leukemia. She is in a very bad state, and can hardly walk. Safair is not prepared to payback my money, and rather keep it as a credit for 6 months. She won't be able to ever fly in future. I think FlySafairs policy in a case like this is unjust and unfair. I won't ever fly with them again if this is how they treat these circumstances. Booking was done through UCount rewards.
