FlySafair *****s Money From Hospitalised patient.
I had booked a ticket for a one day trip in and out of CapeTown for a family wedding. Within the same week I was informed I needed major surgery. I contacted the airline showing the documents that state I will not be active up to a period of 6 weeks (recovery). In the event of this, can I receive a refund. The flysafair consultant (Tatum Booysens) remained rude and requested that I get a letter that specifically says I cannot travel/fly on the date of departure. Once more I contacted my surgeon. He wrote another letter stating I am unfit to fly/travel for a period of 6 weeks after my surgery. My surgery was held on the 21/2/2018. Which means on the 3rd - 4th March I cannot travel as it is only 11 days after my major surgery. I'm laying in my hospital bed, writing this review, as we speak. After trying multiple ways of contacting the airline and instead of resting from a major operation; I'm chasing funds owed (now ******) from me by FlySafair. This service is beyond terrible.
