Flysafair solely responsible for my wallet being ******.

I flew with your airline on 29 September 2019 on flight FA113. As per their own policy I was carrying hand luggage not in excess of 7kg.

When I took my seat there was no room in the overhead compartments for my luggage. Your air stewardess, Lelani, then advised that she would take my luggage. She asked me to first remove any electronics and medication that I may need. This was done and the bag handed over to her.

When we landed I waited for the other passengers to disembark and thereafter asked a stewardess to return to my bag. I was then advised to wait at the top of the air-bridge and that there my bag would be returned to me. This was then done, my presumably airport staff that removed the bag from a storage hold from the bottom of the plane.

When I arrived at my destination I realised that my wallet that had been in a side pocket had been ******. The wallet had over R1800.00 of cash, all my cards (including my business card), my drivers license and the card verifying that I am an attorney.

This was immediately reported to Flysaair via telephone. I was advised that claim forms would be e-mailed to me immediately. However, this has not been done.

For the sake of clarity and to aid distill my issue, I advise that I hold Flysafair, solely and wholly responsible for my loss. The aforementioned is based on the following: I had the right to store my luggage on-board the flight. The only possible reason that there was no room for me to store my luggage in the on-board cabin is because your staff did not apply your own policies. I was never advised that my luggage would be removed by airport staff or placed in a luggage hold. I was not advised to remove any valuables. The only reason I was told to remove electronics, was in the event that I intended to use it/them during the flight. Had I have to have been properly advised herein, I could have removed my wallet.
