FLYSAFAIR PROPERTY THEFT!!!!

PROPERTY THEFT!!!!

So I flew with flysafair on Tuesday 20th of November and upon arriving to my destination, I realized about a day later that my portable WiFi router, that was in a bag I checked in, was missing. Naturally I got suspicious, but I considered the fact that I might have mistakenly left it at home. Today I flew back home and I realized the router isn't here. This means it as removed during the check in process because I only parted with my bag at this time. I didn't even sit at the airport with my bags. I walked in an went straight to check in the bag. So I called Flysafair to find out if they could help me track my router and they essentially told me that they cannot do anything if the property loss was not reported within 24 hours after the flight landed. They then proceeded to give me some bull**** story about their policies and how they do not cover "valuables". So we are supposed to carry all our "valuables" with our hand luggage, regardless of how many you actually have. Long story short, be very careful with your belongings when flying with these people. They have a whole bunch of policies that allow them to avoid taking responsibility for their employees *****ing your belongings. If you can help it, I would advise you simply avoid flying with them altogether. I am disgusted at how little these people were willing to do to help me with this case. I now have to accept that my property was ****** by flysafair employees an Flysafair doesn't want to do anything about it.
