Flysafair not replacing damaged baggage?

Good day I am a frequent flyer and recently took Flysafair from JHB to George. My suitcase wheels were completely damaged. It was an expensive Samsonite which now does not roll properly anymore. I immediately this to the ground staff upon arrival.

However the staff mentioned Flysafair "NEVER PAYS FOR ANY WHEEL DAMAGE". Pls advise this is true. Any airline that I fly with replaces an item if it happened during the flight.
